I’d never have guessed this was brought up in 100% new oak! If I hadn’t been in the midst of a big event swimming in wine, I’d have picked the brain of winemaker @Mike Smith more on the details and would have a longer tasting note….what I can say is that it was totally gorgeous. Makes me say yessss Napa Cab yesss I see you here.

Gorgeous wine. Has evolved nicely over the last two years. Should hit its stride in 2-3, IMO, but if you’re trying now give it 1-2 hours of air. Love Crane fruit!

Just as good as the elysian in my opinion. Definitely different. Maybe bigger tannins and gravely. 🔥
