Loud bretty nose with loads of cracked stones, black peppercorns, and dark cherry skins. Very St. Joseph Syrah-like even though it’s pure Carignane from just outside Corbieres, I think. On the palate it’s lean and lively. Hard to put this down, and, at 12.5%, there’s little reason to.

Medium garnet color with enticing nose of earthy red fruits, hints of menthol and lively, fresh and stimulating texture, great balance and good acidic bite and long finish. Excellent. 12.5 ABV. No idea it’s “all natural “ wine. Mylene Bru production. All old vine Carignan, 2700 bottles. JL 20.
