The Fumé North Coast Sauvignon Blanc

Very pale in color, almost see through.

Nose of citrus, gooseberry, green apples, grapefruits, light grass, vegetables and white pepper.

Light to medium in body with medium plus acidity, crisp and refreshing.

Dry and bitter on the mid palate with grapefruits, limes, lemons, citrus, green apples, vegetables and bitter almonds.

Bitter finish with almonds.

This is a refreshing Sauvignon Blanc from California. Not fully balanced and simple. Refreshing to drink by the pool.

I paired it with cheeses and light appetizers.

Medium acidity, but a light creamy feel. Flavors of lemon zest and mild orange. An interesting change up. For the price it's good, especially for those looking to avoid the acidic citrus typical of New Zealand.

Pear, apricot, pineapple, mango. Medium minus finish.
