Devaux Ranch Sparkling Blanc de Blancs

I think this is the hidden gem of the Mumm collection. Clean, expressive, and balanced.

Lemon/lime, some mineral, chalk. Would recommend laying down for another year or two, seems a tad unfinished. That being said this wine has potential, certainly after 5+ years. Happy I bought 3.

Light golden in color. Green apple aroma with a little baking spices in the background. Tartness is my original impression with a mandarin orange mid-palate through finish. The body remind me of a sarsaparilla soda as I sit with the glass longer the first sip back becomes more floral, reminiscent of apple blossom. This is a beautiful sparkling that’s a treat for Sunday brunch.

Lovely mumm! Bright and yeasty. A nice choice. Would get this one again. Not as great as the brut reserve but still good.

I got an impression of Sprite soda and mango on the aroma. So refreshing! First sip makes me think of peach candy. Kiwi like notes on the finish. Reeeeeaallly nice, I want all the bottles.

Mandarin orange aroma and upon first sip. A sour apple note follows up. There’s a little bit tropical fruit notes on the finish. Very light and refreshing.

Smooth. No hint of bitterness.
