Excellent Cabernet for < $20. Heavily oaked with hints of chocolate and vanilla along with ripe, dark fruits and a round medium body. Never seems overly tannic. I would feel comfortable recommending this to any red wine drinker looking to explore textbook oak flavors in a value cab.

Wow. The first words out of my mouth were, "This tastes expensive." The nose is full and rich as well. Plenty of layers and complexity here. This is going on the very short list of "excellent." - 2012 vintage
