Not a stellar vintage for most producers, but this was a welcome addition to the cranberry pecan pie! Fresh pumpernickel, blackberry, red licorice, sea urchin, treacle, black roses, melted dark chocolate and mint nose. Pronounced black currant, black olive, graphite, boysenberry, burnt brown sugar, dark red cherry juice, saffron, and struck flint. Lingering silver tea-like tannins!
