Although the quality of the wine is good, taste-wise it was not what I expected. The wine has a lot of great fruit notes and for my taste a bit too much sweetness. Being of German heritage, I miss the mineral notes and crispness of a young Riesling. This one comes closer to a semi-dry Kabinet or even a Spätlese (bit too dry for the latter).
