Very dark and brooding. Steeped black fruit, menthol, and a sour savoury undertow. You can taste the old vines. Very fine almost imperceptible tannins. Unctuous but not overblown, and excellent p/q relative to comparable big barossa cousins.

Great beginning but no finish. The symphony didn’t get past the strings. Nice dark spice up front but strong green notes took over and didn’t open up into more. Bummer.
