All around nice flavor, some wood influence present, for a relatively inexpensive wine body is dense and layered making for an enjoyable wine

This is usually my go to Chardonnay for well over 10 years but this vintage seems a bit off from what I typically expect from this great producer. Most likely just this particular bottle…

The nose is lovely, loaded with floral perfume and ripe citrus fruits. The palate is silky and expansive with a shimmering mineral character and a long, pure finish. It improved over the two to three days it was open and will benefit from a long decant. 4,256 cases produced.
