Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir

So damn good from the balance to the layered spices and tight dark red fruits

The balance and finesse on this wine is amazing it's pure light on its feet nature that plays in the mouth

Lovely red fruit, black tea, charming with grilled sockeye with pieces of cherrywood in the weber

After reading Antonio’s review of Mount Eden’s Pinot Noir I thought I would give the 2011 a try. Gorgeous aromatics stand out with cherry liqueur, orange peel, raspberry and cranberry notes flowing through the palate. Simply stunning and youthful in profile. Enjoy this over the next 10 or so years.

Opened musty and you could smell an earthen cave. But the dark fruit and subtle spice is great.

Excellent-- long, good core of fruit and stemmy in the best way
