Always a unique profile from the native ferments, mineral-driven, leesy and weighty, less delineated and complex than the estate wines (or equivalents in Burgundy), but a reasonable approximation of the style.

Heavily influenced by oak, but retains its balance. Vanilla, creme brûlée, buttered popcorn, yellow apples, Bartlett pear and a refreshing acid that keeps this wine moving.

One the most delicious CA Chardonnays in its price range. A superb value. The 2014 is a mix of old vine sites, not Wolff alone.

As of the 2014 vintage, the Wolff Vineyard designation has been dropped from the label. The yields from the aging vines at Wolff have declined to the point where the winery needed to supplement with fruit from another site in order to maintain established production levels. Now simply labeled as Edna Valley Old Vines.

N: lemon curd, apple, touch of butter
P: “” with stones in the finish. Crisp and bright, with a little creaminess and light butter. Solid value

Happy Memorial Day! Thank you to all Veterans! 💚
Interesting wine! My first instinct was to turn this into a spritzer, butter stands proud but given some air it actually presents with apricots, lemon, jasmine, hay, and grapefruit.
