I tasted the 2010 Ma Princesse earlier this year and was totally blown away by how precise it was. The same can be said of the 2010 Coup de Cœur—Luc Morlet brings an Old World touch to this New World beauty with complex, glowing, sumptuous layers of fleshy golden peaches, baked apple skins and caramelized sugar. Lush and expansive, yet corseted with a degree of restraint, every element harmonizes and lingers. Light toast brushed with acacia honey and lemon curd on the finish.

Crazy well made, just too much power when we were looking for more elegance. Check back in 5 years, this has the balance and stuffing to go another 10 easy if you ask me.

This a voluptuous and robust Chardonnay with plenty of backbone, but with a soft elegant finish. 10 years old... now at its peak...

Better after being open for a couple of hours. No mistaking that is from California (which, for me, is a good thing). No need to wait on this. It may get a little better, but will you?

Best Chardonnay ever (for me). Wow. Balance, complexity. Layers, etc. Happy V-Day!
