Zippy black raspberry, blackberry and brambleberry fruit, with pencil box, and black pepper on the finish. Silky structure with nice tannic backbone. Wine
#83 on Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines of 2012.

A little bit of a funky nose that blew off after an hour in a decanter.

The palate is all bright red raspberry. Good acidity without being tart.

Liked the wine better after it had been open for a while, was even better on day 2. Kind of fruity, med to light bodied.

Not a bad Pinot. Doesn't really stand out but is very drinkable. Sweet start with a dry finish.
