I love the Santa Lucia highlands style. This one has well integrated oak with great acidity. The nose is what a ripe blueberry licorice candy would smell like. Little soy sauce notes. Newly cut wood core smells as well. The candy stays, but comes with hints of fresh ground coffee and herbal notes that linger on the finish.
