Jan 1st, 2023Immense showing. Powerful and rich. Nose is so interesting, displaying cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar. First thing that hits me on the palate are the dusty tannins, backed up by bright acidity. Notes of overripe cherries on the finish. Decadence in a glass.

Dec 5th, 2020We may be the only humanoids drinking this stellar wine on the Delectable platform. So rich and decadent. Goes well with my braised short ribs. Bottle age will be its friend. Rich, dark fruits meld with pristine tannins. Extravagant mid-palate weight, gives way to coffee notes and spice box. Deftly balanced acidity will support this for many years to come.

This cab is new for this vintage, coming from Sage Ridge (Pritchard Hill), and it shows.
The nose didn’t offer up much, but the palate is exquisite. Coffee, cinnamon and scorched earth come to mind. Regal tannins, which will help this for years to come. Huge backbone and heavy extraction compliment what is a contemporary, sweet finish. The winemaker herself in picture. This is a case buy... at Elements Restaurant, Princeton, NJ.
