Sorry, I'm not going to rave about this as much as some of the other reviewers. Needs to be decanted and to breathe (!) for an hour (at least). Initially, it has an unpleasant pucker factor, But once it opens up it develops a nice bouquet of leather and earth. The tannins become smoother, but for the price point you're paying for this, I think you can do better with a less expensive wine --- at least if you're drinking it young. But very nice. Not fantastic. This was the 2013 vintage opened Jan 2017. On the other hand, you can probably put this down for 15 years, and it will be perfect -- if you have the patience. I'll probably be dead by then, so I don't.
