Montinore Estate
Willamette Valley Pinot Gris

Oyster shells and sea salt. Tart lemon, white peach, and strong minerality on the palate. Zippy acidity, elevated body (13.4% abv) with phenolic bitterness on the savory finish.

Nov 8th, 2018My first biodynamic wine. It's okay. Maybe I hyped it up too much but it just sort of tasted like a pinot gris.

Jan 16th, 2019Not too sweet, not too dry. Not very acidic. Tastes like a warm breeze in a grassy meadow.

Great hot weather white. Crisp, fruity, with a spicy note.

Oregon is always known for its Pinot noirs but Pinot Gris. This is delicious. You can see right away by just looking at its color. This will be a repeat. Who’s knows it might be a case or two or three for a fun summer wine party.
