A medium bodied jammy Zinfandel with raspberry and ripe strawberry as the prominent flavors. It is off-dry verging on semi-sweet which does make this wine a bit of a sugar bomb. Overall, a smooth easy uncomplicatrd wine for drinking by itself but also paired well with smoked babyback ribs. ($8) [9/3/2016]

Bright and fruity,this Zin is full of jammy blueberry flavors. Works well as a cocktail wine.

Dark but significantly translucent, very light fruit aromas, tastes black fruit, low tannins and oak, and low residual sugar.

Dark blood red. Nose has a hint of smoke with the cherry and berry hints. Little woodsy, hot red berry fruits in the sun. Taste is nothing special. Some Zinful bits, but overall more like a ‘red, red wine’. Pretty on a par with the low cost Lodi Zins.

Not an everyday pick because it’s so fruity, but this is fun before dinner in the summer. Cherries is the strongest flavor for me.
