Old world lovely. 100% Sangiovese, so prominent dark fruit with leather/spice & quick decay. A little chalky finish. Opens up nicely. Becoming a favorite.

Tastes like a Chianti Classico for around $10. Cherries and stones. Get some.

Light maroon almost a darker ruby color with a nose of cherry and a slight hint of leather to me. The pallet is a nice cherry with some kind of mineral finish..maybe something like copper?. Great ripe tannins with medium body. Great sangiovese!

Can't complain when good friends bring one of their treasured bottle of Italian wines from their vacation to our dinner table. Great!

This is really good for the price.. On the nose, red candies, black licorice, and a sulfur-like smokiness with stewed black fruit. Vibrant acidity with well-rounded red fruits and cherry pit on the palate.. Great QPR!

Subtle dark fruit and some smoke on the nose. Medium feel on the tongue with light hints of sour cherry and leather. Flavor grows with each sip. Love the tart acidity and whisper of minerality. For the price this is a great find!

Great value @ $11, if this was a chianti, it would easily be around $25.
Black cherry, tobacco, and a touch of smoke.

This got better as I drank it. Sour cherries and light and simple at first, it opened up and deepened quickly. Along came violets, leather and chalk, with nice acidity and tannins.
