Deep ruby in color with a light red/brick rim.
Slight sourness on the nose, with cherries, strawberries, cranberries, pomegranate, oak, vanilla, earth, licorice, forest floor, tar, coffee and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with high acidity and long thin legs.
Tart on the palate with sour cherries, strawberries, unripe plums, cedar, currants, dirt, forest floor and peppercorn.
Medium finish with soft tannins and strawberries.
A Drinkable Spanish red. Much better right out of the bottle, as it died after 45 minutes.
A little unbalanced, but a good food wine. I paired it with Spanish tapas.
As it opens up, it becomes bigger in body with more tannins, but also more tart. This 5 year old needs to be drunk in its youth.
13% alcohol by volume.

Aug 29th, 2016Great value table wine. Needs to breathe a bit though. I've had better bottles than others, might not have always been well kept. 2010 nicer than 2011 I think
