Chiaretto Bardolino Rosé

Delicious. Don’t let it’s pale color fool you, it’s Very much like a red wine on the palate. Rich and full bodied. #chiaretto

This actually got better about 1-2 hours after opening. Not that it was “tight” but just shy, I guess? Wet stone, some vague tropical notes on the nose. Dry and tart, but pleasant.

Clear brilliant pink or orange pink color.
At first scents, mineral nuance, citrus, grapefruit, plum, cider, apple, then I felt medium scent of cashew nuts, honey, and Shiso-herb.
Light sweet and juicy acidic attack, soft body, with hint of tannins and bitterness.

I really dislike the smell. The taste is superb but when I take a sip I still smell a little which makes it pretty worse. Really easy-drinking wine.

Honeydew. Very refreshing. Dry, slightly imparted tannin. Heavily floral, even to rose.

This was good and quite different from your typical Provence rosé. Strawberries, lemon zest, apple cider, Mediterranean herbs and toasted nuts.
