Gorgeous color. This is only my second Barolo so I really don't have much to compare it to. Given what I've heard about it, I get the sense that maybe this isn't a typical example of the style. Regardless, I very much enjoyed it. Lots of complexity with cascading tar and licorice flavors. Overpriced in the sense that there's wines I like as much, if not more, for half the price.
