Bright cherry, fruit leather, cranberry-cherry-orange jam concentration but light weight, silky and fluid. Ferrous, orange peel, clove spice. This wine makes me smile. Great with spag bol

After seeing this producer in @Matt Perlman’s reviews, I snagged a bottle when it was on sale at the local wine shop. Very nice. Lots of red fruit, very balanced, quite restrained (in a good way), excellent acid, nice finish. For $20, a great value.

Part of my education on Italian wine. A little heavier than I like in a Chianti but would hold its own with a tomato sauce based dish.
