Blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Deep ruby color with garnet highlights. Big aromas of black cherry, leather, violets and black licorice. Definitely needs aeration or decanting, but mellows out to a rich red. Dry, medium tannins, delicious with classic Italian pasta dishes. (Of course!)
