Bought this at the winery in February 2019. Returning to the Mornington Peninsula this coming Christmas and having a tasting and lunch at Montalto - also a viewing of all the sculptures throughout the vineyard. Pale crimson with a tawny rim. Transparent. Dried cherry, roses with noticeable whole bunch influence. On the medium weight palate dried cherry raspberries and spice drawer with superb savoury texture. A good example as to why Mornington Peninsula is an excellent terroir for Pinot Noir (and Chardonnay). Had my last bottle 86 weeks later on 10th June 2025 with similar notes. Lovely aromatics showing Liqueur Cherry. Medium bodied with spice and red fruits. The whole bunch influence has integrated more than with the previous tasting. This is an excellent wine really shining at 10 years of age.
