Made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, not Pinot Gris. Had a glass of this with dessert - no written notes again. Truly unctuous and delicious. Ripe pear and quince notes with low acid and profound intensity. A petrochemical/paraffin note. Made at the winery where we are having lunch. An excellent effort for a dessert wine from Montalto. The Mornington Peninsula road trip continues.
