Great vintage, soulful rendition of Nebbiolo, but just know it’s more like a 3 minute Stax records hit, rather than a long play jam of, say, Les Mcann Compared To What. Still, for20$, I’d choose it most days of the week. Some of that burnished leather furniture & forest floor is coming through the Nebbiolo, & so it’s more black fruited & evocative than peppy. Just know it’s a shorter finish.

Jul 10th, 2014The unheralded DOC of Northern Piedmont. Nebbiolo, Uva Rara, and Vespolina. These "ripe" vintages seem to kill it in the north.
