Vieille Vigne Fixin Pinot Noir

I love cool vintages and this wine is linear but I love it

Clear, medium minus concentration, ruby color, silver secondary colors. Clean nose, fresh red plum, raspberry, red cherry, cranberry, cedar, forest floor and mushrooms. Dry palate, ripe, fresh and stewed red fruits, violets, baking spices, forest floor and mushrooms. Medium tannins, medium plus acid, medium alcohol, medium body, lean texture, balanced, medium plus finish, medium complexity.

Terrific! In a perfect spot and highly recommended.

Ripe raspberry nose with more delicate raspberry on the palate. Incredibly smooth and supple. It's complex, with a bit of vanilla and more ripe fruits.

Giant step forward compared to last year! Great Fixin!

Wonderful balance. Acid and fruit. Earthy. Lovely. We had it with chicken Marbella.

Good wine but couldn’t get my finger on it. It tasted very young and was too “present”. I hope further cellaring will bring more elegance.

Youthfull but already very approachable. Nevertheless, a couple of years wouldn’t do her wrong! Good stuf!
