This was a great surprise! Not familiar with Mirror and their St Helena winery, but after being introduced tonight, I need to learn more. For $70/bottle, after some time, the dark fruits and oak emphasis really became pronounced. Very nice!

Sep 20th, 2015Nice California-style Cabernet Sauvignon that is very strong and very fruit-forward. Very well-made Cabernet with an intense cherry flavor followed by an elegant but quite acidic finish.

I pulled the cork and was surprised with a pretty nice nose. Maybe the long lasting affects of the flu have gone away and I can smell again. Blackberries like a fresh baked pie, tobacco and darkish chocolate. When I tasted it there were dark cherries, hint of plums, cigar box and a very faint hint of vanilla bean. This finished very nice and lingered just enough to remind you that you want more.
