May 14th, 2017Nose is heavy tobacco and earthy. Maybe a little bit of paprika. Extremely dark purple in the glass. Absolutely no light getting through. On the front of the palate, the earthiness continues, along with a little hint of lemon zest. There is a bitter, coppery edge, but not in a bad way. All in all, not too bad. Will have to let it air out and open up a bit.
