Founded in 1887 by Francesco Mionetto in the small village of Valdobbiadene, Mionetto in the heart of the Prosecco region. Nice soft tropical fruit aromas in a bright salmon color with small mousse and bubble flow. On the palate red berry fruit flavors, raspberry with lime zest, dry with mineral tones, well balanced. Yup, this is definitely worth it (and we can't even remember what it cost). Fruity, delicious, nice balance, some residual sugar but doesn't taste sweet. Beautiful color that they call peach blossom. Food friendly or quaffable. NV. 11.5 ABV Got this for Valentine's Day (thanks Graham). From Liquor Locker in Gloucester.
