Jan 9th, 2015Itโs an Italian Prosecco kind of weekend! This bottle of Mionetto Cartizze DOCG Prosecco is full of flavour and complexity compared to your typical Prosecco. The best Glera grapes which go into making Prosecco are said to come from this small, yet superior area called Catizze in the heart of the DOCG appellation.
On the eye itโs a lemon lime colour with teeny tiny bubbles rising up from the bottom of the glass. On the nose it has hints of almonds mixed with baked apples and a trio of orange ๐, lemon and lime citrus acidity. While in the mouth itโs full of creamy custard apples ๐, crispness and complexity ๐พ
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #tcweekdaywine
