old vintage - not sure it was stored correctly, it had port qualities to it, with RS, all sorts of weird going on here, I want to taste more Brazilian wine! That was interesting....

Way to young for now - good but maybe a bit to Bordeaux like for me, concentration, power, clean nose of dark berries, mild spices , firm tannins - to taste again in a few years - for now a wine that needs red grilled meat

Garnet core and wide garnet rim , showing its 20 years of age as expected. Tobacco , leather , spice dominate , just a touch the cassis. On the palate quite generous mid palate , a bit dusty and rustic , more of a herbaceous side , tobacco , leather dried black fruits , decent acidity and a reasonably good finish . Slightly warm alcoholic kick at the end . Mature and needs to be drunk, this from a 6 litre. Very commendable however for a Brazilian wine from the 1990’s.

Perfect when served with grilled beef. Tried it at a brazilian BBQ.
