Emily's Cuvée Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Really great cab that’s very balanced and great earthy tones that are drinking well now and will be better with age.

Mar 30th, 2020My first Napa cab from 2017, a vintage probably associated the most with the Northern California wildfire started on Oct 8th, but also characterized by a rainy spring and several long heat spikes in the summer.
The fruits were fresh and lush. Blackcurrant, raspberry, licorice, black tea, hint of dark chocolate. Bright palate with good texture and tension. A bit herbaceous. Young.
The grapes were picked between Sept. 28th and Oct. 21st. As usual, it spent 22 months in French oak barrels, 60% new.
