Surprisingly youthful and vibrant. Lots of red fruit: chocolate-covered cherry, raspberry coulis, red currant, red plum; red licorice, Count Chocula milk, mocha, toasty vanilla. Smooth cocoa powder tannins, lively acidity, medium plus body, moderately long finish. Subtle, restrained, elegant, and balanced. Not the kind of wine I usually drink, but delicious and perfect with steak. People drink Napa Cab way too young!!Decanted 20 minutes.
