3rd in my case of 12. Fabulous pinot. Night after the Gibbston Valley China Terrace, which is big bold, dark and brooding. This is all of that but with more finesse and savoury grip. Not to the point of Burgundian elegance, but very true to the spirit of pinot. Balanced and silky mouthfeel. Big sour cherry and sandalwood explosion if acid and grip. This will run and run. Amazing.

Best pinot I have had for some time. So much energy and grip. Lacy but also concentrated. Sweet red cherry, then darker fruit and wood spice in the mid palate. Shroud of acid and super fine tannin bringing everything together. As though the pure pinot flavours are being sucked into every tastebud. Combination of acid and tannin deliver the ultimate platform for the pure fruit flavour to zing.. 5-10 years? This will be killer.
