There aren’t many NY state wines I have found memorable but this one definitely deserves praise. Not as sexy as a French or California Cab Franc but great purity and balance (20% Merlot added). Excellent fruit and enjoyable mid weight red. Congrats to the winemaker!!👍👍

Took longer to open up than I expected. 2-3 hours. Cherry and underripe blackberry, fruit-forward. Good versatile red paired with all local farm fresh ingredients: yellow tomato salad, Hudson Valley NY strip steak, and corn on the cob. Enjoyed it even more on day 2. Serve on the cooler side.

Dill Pickles on the nose and pallet. Plums and red berry fruit flavors. Blended with some Merlot. I craved a hot dog when I drank this one. Thanks to Kevin Zraly for sharing!

Thin and one sided. Hints of water dyed purple with a medicine aftertaste. Not good.
