Miles From Nowhere – Sauv. Blanc / Sémillon 2023
Margaret River, Western Australia 🇦🇺

Overview
A classic Margaret River white blend composed of 65% Sauvignon Blanc and 35% Semillon, crafted to highlight freshness, vibrancy, and texture. This style has long been a signature of the region, showcasing both varietals’ strengths in balance.

Aromas & Flavors
The nose bursts with gooseberry, passionfruit, and citrus zest from the Sauvignon Blanc, intertwined with lemon curd, grassy notes, and subtle tropical fruits. Semillon adds softer layers of lanolin, white flowers, and a gentle waxy nuance.

Mouthfeel
Light to medium-bodied, crisp acidity drives the palate with citrus and orchard fruit. The Semillon lends a rounder mid-palate weight, while Sauvignon Blanc keeps the finish lively, clean, and refreshing.

Winemaking Notes
Fruit sourced from selected Margaret River vineyards, harvested in the cool of night to preserve aromatics. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks ensures vibrancy, with some lees contact adding subtle texture and depth.

Food Pairing
Perfect with fresh seafood — oysters, prawns, grilled white fish — or lighter vegetarian dishes like asparagus risotto or goat cheese salads. Also shines as an aperitif on a warm afternoon.

Verdict
A true Margaret River crowd-pleaser: crisp, fresh, and food-friendly. A great example of how this region excels with Sauvignon Blanc–Semillon blends, delivering both drinkability and character.
