Ah the joys of breakfast at night! Milk and dark chocolate colorations from crown to base, undulating division as dark forces agitate upwards. Perfumed with Musky coffee, black strap molasses and spiced date filling, burnt toffee, dark brown sugar with vanilla; Turkish and mushroom coffees bicker over malt sugars. Darkest espresso grind and baker’s chocolate overwhelm vanilla bean and licorice, burnt pecan pie filling, burnt phyllo flakes delicately dissolve into mocha and darkly toasted oak.

Huge milk chocoalate to Cappuccino colored eruption of thickest froth dwindles, flattening to a lunar landscape. Dark chocolate and coffee elements initiate. Machinery. Roasted almond-in-shell, vanilla and hazelnut aromas. This stout will zap the tongue with malty coffee notes that feel like a 9 volt battery connection, then shimmer in bitter arabica, dried violet, valerian root, nutmeg, clove tinges of ginger. The whole almost suggests licorice, but the flavor isolates encourage soloism. Dark chocolate abates, revealing rich roasted coffee in a splendid finish. Launch into the darkest astral day with the breakfast for champion cosmonauts.

I have been drinking a lot of beers lately, that is because I have far too many!! 69 different beers at last count! Most are strong ales, barley wines, and barrel aged (fill in the blank) this coffee stout is just a simple old favorite with a mocha nose, and a wood ear mushroom rustic touch. A mostly creamy head with animal cracker lacing, a well-integrated and borderline milk-stout mouthfeel, strong coffee note that remains well into second breakfast. The beer geek brunch is on tap down the street. Feral coffee? Let's get schizophrenic!

This is a solid coffee stout, possibly the most well balanced I've ever had.
