Rebel Red California Winemaker's Red Blend

This bargain wine is medium dark ruby in the glass and displays a nose of strawberry, cherry, vanilla and oak spice. On the palate is angular, tart red fruit, stiff tannins and a fairly heavy dose of oak. It's faint praise to say that it's not horrible, but it's better suited to making sangria or serving chilled at a cookout than pairing with a meaningful meal.

Generic red wine - simple and straightforward, just a bit of oak so the modest fruit shines through. More umph on the palate than the nose with black fruit. Not much of a finish but at a cookout with about of Chill in it this would be a real crowd pleaser

Great Sangria base

Very nice red blend. Just a little jammy and a hint of dryness after you take a sip. Fun to drink on its own. Stands up spicy food pretty well too. Good to have at the ready!

Taste of cherries maybe plum. Missing the chocolate and rich flavor of bigger wines but decent at 10-12 a bottle.

Great pick for a casual afternoon. The expression on the label caught my eye, and I'm glad that it did. Fun and tasty.

Berries and pepper. Got better with letting it breathe. Good with my steak :)
