100% Malbec from a 1.5 hectare biodynamically farmed vineyard in the Gualtallary sub-region of the Uco Valley. Vines are rooted in limestone and granite soils, at almost 4,600 ft elevation. Fermented in concrete eggs and aged in oak for 14 months. Pure, expressive nose with scents of dark fruit, prune, blood orange, violets and minerals (chalk). Medium-bodied, fresh, lively, very juicy. Saline. Long finish. Delicious

Dec 4th, 2021Red currant, black pepper, green chiles, graphite. Approaches Chinon on it's complexity, but more fruit and New World spice. Lengthy, smooth finish. I honestly have only had a handful of Cab Francs in my life, but this compares very favorably.

Sep 4th, 2021Oh wow. This is the real deal. Complex, lifted blue and red fruits on the nose with a subtle vegetal/briney component. More floral with each minute it airs. Doubles down on the palate - powerful wine. Best bottle of Argentine wine I have had in recent memory. Overdelivers.
