v12. This is really good! Soft, smoked, candied Black Cherry nose. Juicy, rich, dark black cherry and a touch of tar fruit. Long, slightly dry, pepper and mocha finish. Very good!

Huge nose of plum, lavender, strawberry jam, raspberry jam, vanilla, almond extract, and cranberry. Big red fruit on the palate of dark cherry, fresh raspberry, cranberry, as well as black tea, licorice, menthol, black pepper, cinnamon, clove, leather, white pepper, sage, oak, and blackberry. Medium plus tannins, high alcohol, and high acid.

Overall disappointing. Heavy, lacked the complexity of other amarone. Flabby after an hour decant.

Average. Storage temp was too high. Needed to be cooler. Disappointing but I would try it again.
