Nice balanced Cabernet - perfect with grilled prime rib and the salt air of the coast.

Disappointing. No structure. Limited flavor which has you noticing the alcohol almost immediately. This will be the one I leave out for the late night guests when they've gone through the good stuff.

A WTSO special, I'm glad I spent $20, instead of the normal $50 for this 750 ml container of black pepper. Maybe the 2012 is a bit too young right now but it tasted like straight pepper mill. Thoroughly disappointed for something that was rated a 93 point wine by reputable critics and 94 by WTSO members. (2012 Vintage)

Almost back with magenta notes, full bodied. Creme de cassis, cherry and a whiff of va on the nose. Starts soft and velvety with cassis and blueberry notes that touch on cedar and astringency by mid, where they're also met by a slightly metallic and off acidity that carries through the hot finish. Missing some of the suave oak and bourbon, along with a denser fruit profile that make a Sonoma cab for me. But for the price it's a phenomenal Monday night prize.
