Le Clousot Arbois Trousseau
Interesting that almost all others noted funk. There might have been a touch upon opening but gave way to pretty tart red fruit & tons of minerality! Perfect with summer pasta dish (with cantaloupe sauce!) when folks wanted red not white.

Aug 14th, 2016Light, tart, with a mineral water like feel. Poorly defined fruit, with a bit of earth.

Jun 9th, 2016Struck-matchy at first--blows off after a 20 minute decantation. Bright sumac, flinty, welcoming body/tannins. Silky yet prickly--complex with great finesse esp. at $25.

Jan 5th, 2016Do not drink without decanting for an hour. Total horse piss on the nose at first, but it burns off and leaves behind a light, pretty, tart red that pairs beautifully with food.

Jan 3rd, 2016Funky, smoky nose. Light but juicy, alive & very drinkable. Intriguing flavor and complexity.
