Michel Gahier
Le Clousot Arbois Trousseau
Raspberries, bell peppers, spice and quite a bit of brett, at least in this bottle. Chewy tannins, fine acid and concentration. Nice.
Even better on day 2. Wish I had another bottle for a few years from now.

Short decant. Aromas of blood orange, maraschino cherries, red rope licorice and high quality potpourri. On the palate it’s red cherries and white pepper. Quaffable. Thanks Neal!!

May 31st, 2018Very pleasant juicy red fruits, forest fruits, and cinnamon spice on the palate. Lots of marl minerality. Good structure, lively acidity, and lovely longer finish.

Nov 8th, 2016Interesting that almost all others noted funk. There might have been a touch upon opening but gave way to pretty tart red fruit & tons of minerality! Perfect with summer pasta dish (with cantaloupe sauce!) when folks wanted red not white.
