For $16, this wine has some nice flavors, starting with a combination of cherry and licorice. But it finishes with a nasty aftertaste that ruins enjoyment of the wine. If you are limited to $16 for your purchase price, it’s better than other red wines at this price, but otherwise, find something else. Over time, after open an hour, the bad aftertaste increases in intensity, so consume immediately after opening.
