Rage Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel

Big and brutish. Dried cranberries.

There was a time where I enjoyed drinking this style of Zin, but now it’s almost annoying. Dry Creek Zins deserve better representation because they can do better. Big whiff of that hot 15.5% ABV, jelly jar raspberry preserves with extra sugar, figured maybe just maybe the alcohol would burn off by morning...nope.

The Michael David wines are phenomenal. This one doesn't disappoint either. Fantastic bottle of Zin to go with BBQ Filet Mignon :) #yegwine

Whoa...this was really tasty. Not a huge jam bomb but full of delicious and dare I say zippy Zinfandel fruit.

So young but so good. Needed a long decanting but was so beautiful round ripe fruit. Michael David does some awesome stuff.

For a zin its seems to be over manipulated by the winemaker. Comes across some what sweet, full bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Oaked cherry, currant and brushy textures. Finished with mocha and dark cocoa highlights.

Outstanding.
