Cabernet Franc makes a great table red. This one particularly was high in alcohol, and slightly angular, but made up for it in very luscious ripe fruits, tobacco notes, dark chocolate, black berries and creme-de-casis, with a velvety tannin that was actually quite pleasant. Pairs great with rich chocolates, or even a fatty roast.

Aug 3rd, 2015I'd prefer to blend Bordeaux components with this, as it remains too angular by itself.

Mar 10th, 2015Deep dark red and purple in color. Aromas of blackberry bushes, dried apricots, and tobacco. Tastes of black cherry and plum w a white pepper finish and some smooth tannins.

Apr 27th, 2018Dark fruit, truly only and thick with black and blue fruit flavors, but still balanced with mild spice and a little oak/dry on palette, this has a complex bouquet and a lovely feel. Truly delightful, if a little more expensive than our norm. Perfect for a psychologist celebration!
