5th wine of my birthday blind tasting. And I got the varietal right while smelling it with a blind on my eyes. I tried my luck placing it in Alsace. Missed 😅
The nose is made of lychee, rose, honey and white pepper. The palate is rather fresh but not too much acid driven. It goes super well with my chilli pasta. There are lychee notes all along, some width, a light sweet touch too although it's rather dry, and a nice white pepper note in the rear along with rose water touches.
It lacks a bit of tension to be right up my alley but it's a pretty good example of its kind.
