Amazing rosé of Lagrein from Mezzacorona. This is their first rosé {2014}, and it is a gem for $10. Crisp, dry and filled with bright strawberry notes. Lots of floral aromas, great structure. Mar 14th, 2015Notes of citrus and strawberries. A touch too sweet, but it is better when paired with food. Amazing with a duck confit salad, especially if the wine is mixed with fresh lemon juice and citrus olive oil to make a dressing.
